Ulla Jordan has a Finnish-Canadian background and was raised on
tales of the Finnish Winter War, which she has researched extensively. Her background includes teaching and English Literature at the University of Alberta. Writing is a vital aspect of her life and a way to keep her family’s stories alive.
Lost Ground is her first novel.
This novel takes you into the world of the Winter War between Finland and Russia, as seen through the eyes of an American correspondent and the Finnish woman he loves.
